Some of my favorites of a few years back...

So here's me thinking... making no promises, but you'll all know where my next inspiration comes from!

And here's my new hobby, be kind they are first attempts... Heard of upcycling? Here's an old broken lamp, a plain beech cabinet and a cheap duvet cover with a patchwork of all the baby blankets... Damn I should've taken before shots too!

Very successful Irish artist, Roisin O'Farrell, I think her work is exquisite, especially as a fellow lover of paint textures and she takes it to a whole other level. I love her vibrant brave colors have a look at her website:

Snap snap snap! Staying close to home

Some remnants of my attempts at gardening...
Abandoned by the front door

Something needs a fix...

And that's what's on my easel at the moment:

Two of them are miniatures, 5x10cm (sorry for photo quality just quickly taken on my phone), really enjoying working that size, but lets just say the subject has to be chosen carefully!

Well it has been a long time! After a very enjoyable trip to my home country, in searing heat, loads of sunshine and good food, I am back to brushes and knives amongst other things. I've tried the landscapes...

And to be honest, it's not my thing, I'm struggling to find it exciting and inspiring, so back to the camera to find more subjects...
